Why would a buyer purchase a written work?
With Soltype, literature becomes an asset class - like art! It can be invested in, re-sold, and collected! If that wasn’t cool enough, here are the three main reasons why a buyer would purchase a written work:
  1. 1.
To re-sell a literary work for a profit (as you would any other investment). When a buyer purchases a written work, they can watch for fluctuations in the value of SOL and the growing popularity of the author. They can then re-sell the written work to their and the writer’s benefit. (See: How do secondary royalties work on Soltype).
  2. 2.
Coming soon: To receive a 10% of the writer’s tips (a buyer will only receive this while they own the written work).
  3. 3.
Coming soon: To access Storyworlds (buyers will retain access even after they sell) (See: Storyworlds: How Soltype makes reading different)
