Soltype's innovative model rewards users who promote literary NFTs. It turns authors’ buyers and tippers into a decentralised sales-force that markets their written work.
Re-selling Literary NFTs
By making use of the following model, authors at Soltype can both strengthen their brands and increase their profits (from both initial sales and royalties from secondary sales). Let's take a closer look.
- 1.Author transfers 1 SOL to a promotion pool to list her/his 1/1 literary NFT
- 2.Buyer 1 purchases author's literary NFT
- 3.Buyer 1 resells author's literary NFT and earns 50% of the pool as reward
- 4.Buyer 2 resells author's literary NFT and earns 30% of the pool as reward
- 5.Buyer 3 resells author's literary NFT and earns 15% of the pool as reward
- 6.Soltype takes the remaining 5% of the pool as a service fee
Tipping Literary NFTs
By tipping a written work, readers, fans, and investors gain access to an exclusive social reading experience in which they can comment, highlight favourite phrases, and connect directly with other fans of the work. Moreover, tipping at Soltype unlocks a one-of-a-kind promotion for authors as it incentivises tippers to find more tippers:
- 1.A reader tips a literary NFT with 0.1 SOL of which
- 2.After 100 tips, the tipping pool is distributed as follows:
- 1.50% of the pool goes to the first 10 tippers/promoters (they each receive 5% of the total pool)
- 2.30% of the pool goes to the author of the literary NFT
- 3.10% of the pool goes to the current owner of the literary NFT
- 4.Soltype takes the remaining 10% of the pool as a service fee
- 3.All the tips following the initial 100 tips are distributed as follows:
- 1.50% of each tip goes to the author of the literary NFT
- 2.20% of each tip goes to the first 10 tippers of the literary NFT
- 3.20% of the pool goes to the current owner of the literary NFT
- 4.Soltype takes the remaining 10% of the pool as a service fee
